Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. We are currently searching for a Cleaner/General Maintenance to join the team at Royalty Crossing for the summer in Charlottetown from June until the end of August. This would be a great chance for a student who is looking to gain some work experience. The hourly rate for this position is within the range of $19-$20 per hour.

What you will do :

- General maintenance and/or painting;




- Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste;
- Wash windows and interior walls;
- Clean washrooms;
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers;
- Sweep, mop, scrub hallways, floors, and stairs;
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas;
- Clean vacant units;
- Report deficiencies for repair;
- Working with the public in a shopping center environment;
- Other duties as required.

What you will bring :

- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work as a team, and under mínimal supervision;
- Proven communication skills, both written and oral;
- Ability to spend long periods of time walking/standing.
