Duties

- Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Plate dishes according to presentation standards, ensuring visual appeal and portion control
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as garnishing, assembling dishes, or organizing ingredients
- Bypass bottlenecks by proactively communicating with cooks and servers about order status
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo station to uphold food safety regulations
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting stations efficiently during service




- Monitor food quality and temperature before serving to ensure guest satisfaction

Skills

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, plating, and presentation standards
- Ability to work quickly under pressure in a lively hospitality setting
- Experience with banquet or large event catering is a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and hospitality principles
