Exigences :

- Un minimum d'un an d'expérience dans un atelier de vélos.
- Peut communiquer avec une clientèle variée en anglais et en français.
- Peut effectuer des réparations de vélo mineures sur place, sous pression.

We are currently hiring for a meticulous bicycle mechanic, as well as dynamic customer support staff.

Bicycle rental customer support staff

Ma Bicyclette is seeking passionate bilingual cyclists who love working with a wide range of customers in a fun, busy outdoor workplace.

Our rental shop, located on the Lachine canal, has the best summer vibes! You’ll be our rockstar on the ground, taking care of walk-in rentals and reservations, helping renters with bike adjustments, chatting and suggesting cycling routes. You’ll also help them return the bikes and other accessories, take payments for rentals and purchases, count the cash and operate the reservation software, amongst other things.

Requirements :

- be fluent in both French and English
- have strong organizational skills, especially for multi-tasking
- have good problem-solving skills and be able to think on your feet
- be computer proficient to use our rental and point-of-sale software
- be calm and friendly with customers
- be familiar with Montreal bicycle paths and routes,



so you can recommend trips to tourists (or interested in learning)
- know the basics of selecting and adjusting bicycles for proper fit
- be physically able to lift bicycles and perform light maintenance like washing bikes, inflating tires and changing flats.

Ma Bicyclette, a Southwest neighbourhood bicycle shop, is looking for a reliable, adaptable, social mechanic who is meticulous with their bicycle repairs. Our outdoor, open air repair workshop, located on the Lachine Canal, has the best summer vibes!

Requirements :

- A minimum of 1 year previous bicycle shop experience
- Ability to communicate with a diverse clientele in both English and French
- Ability to perform minor bicycle repairs on the spot, under pressure
- Desire to contribute to the cohesive environment of our small team of professionals

Assets :

- Some experience in customer support and sales

Part time/ full time : salary commensurate with experience
