Roles and responsibilities

- The selected person must have experience in manual work requiring physical effort
- Supports the supervisor and the regional operations manager in the organization of service calls
- Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on carts, ladders, and material handling equipment
- Assists with keeping the service truck up to date with the equipment and parts needed to complete the work
- Safely use hand and power tools to perform maintenance and repairs on shopping carts, ladders, and material handling equipment
- Review the day's work with store managers
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety procedures
- Supports supervisor execute the weekly schedule according to the climatic conditions and the performance of the maintenance team.

Required Skills :

- Previous warehouse working expertise will be considered an asset
- Basic welding training will be considered an asset, but training will be provided by the company
- Good organization skills to manage a large volume of repetitive work
- Quick learning skills and attention to details
- Maintenance technician experience will be considered an asset

Qualifications and Requirements

- Eligible to work in Canada without restriction




- Valid class 5 driver's license without restrictions will be considered an asset. MVR will be performed
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Be at least 21 years old (for insurance purposes)
