Job Overview We are a small non profit that support emergency services in Mexico. We also have a mandate agreement with 2 projects/entities in Mexico and accept their Canadian donations and give tax receipts. Their funds are held in trust accounts. Person we hire must be familiar with charities who operate on a multi faceted level. The position will require monthly financial statements and tax returns.

Responsibilities

- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare financial statements and assist with auditing processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft for data entry, reporting, and record keeping




- Maintain organized bookkeeping records and ensure data integrity across all financial systems
- Assist with financial services tasks including tax preparation support and internal control procedures

Experience

- Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role within a corporate finance environment
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices including auditing, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Hands-on experience with popular accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant tools

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
