Hi-Performance Distributors (HPD) is a client centric leader of radio-controlled (RC) and hobby products, based in Abbotsford, B.C. We ship about 600,000 units a year across 50,000+ SKUs to dealers across Canada. Our purpose is simple: real people enabling Canadians to have fun.

We're hiring a Supply Chain Manager to own procurement and supply chain end to end. You'll lead a team of two Buyers and a Logistics Coordinator, set pricing, and make sure our best sellers never run out. A new ERP (NetSuite) launches April 1, and you'll help lead the switch.

You'll have a stellar training program as the previous Supply Chain Leader was promoted, showcasing growth and agility within the organization!

This role is NOT for you if:

- You want remote or hybrid work. This role is 100% in office in Abbotsford.
- You prefer to wait for direction. Our team is quick, direct and expects fast decisions.
- You've never led a team. You'll coach, develop and hold three people accountable.
- You think high inventory turns are a win even when shelves go empty.
- Digging into root causes and margin numbers sounds tedious.

This role IS for you if:

- You've owned purchasing and inventory for a distributor, wholesaler or retailer with a large SKU catalogue.
- You've led buyers or a procurement team, and you build people up rather than doing their work for them.
- You're comfortable owning pricing and margins, including the impact of exchange rates, freight and supplier programs.
- You make decisions from data: demand, sales history, lead times.
- You've worked in an ERP. NetSuite or an ERP rollout is a big plus.
- You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks.

What you'll own

- Product availability: run A-SKU classification, safety stock and reorder points, and catch stockouts before they happen.




- Inventory productivity: keep cash out of slow-moving and excess stock.
- Pricing and gross profit: own dealer pricing and margins, and act fast on cost changes.
- Inbound supply reliability: hold suppliers to their lead times and keep ETAs accurate for the warehouse.
- Team performance: set clear roles and scorecards, and build a team of A players.

How you'll be measured
A-SKU availability %, annual inventory turns (target 4–8), gross profit %, inbound on-time %, and % A players on your team. KPIs are set and reviewed with you directly.
