Seasonal Utility Courier - Fort McMurray

Location: Fort McMurray Depot - #1 240 MacKay Crescent
Scheduled Shift: full-time, Monday-Friday availability required (some weekends may be included); Pay rate: $36.99 per hour
This is expected to be a temporary seasonal position until end of December 2026. The Utility Courier picks up and delivers customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules and resolves problems as they arise. Job covers other absent couriers that may be on any work shift.
Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
Scan packages / mail as it is received, delivered,
or returned to the depot at the end of the day
Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
When inspections fail, the Courier advises the unit manager
Clean Driving Abstract (please upload a current driver's abstract with your resume)
Must successfully pass written & road test(s)
Must successfully pass Defensive Driving course
Must successfully pass Courier Methods training course
Courier methods training and/or work related experience
Proper scan and load techniques
Successfully complete a criminal record check and employment verification to qualify

Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. Reports to: Manager Unit
