The City of Abbotsford’s Legislative Services department is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional to join our team as a Freedom of Information Administrator. This exciting opportunity plays a key role in supporting the administration of the City’s Privacy Policy and Records Bylaw,



and in ensuring compliance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
You will also liaise with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC), assist in staff education and training, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to privacy, access to information, and records management.
A certificate in Public Administration, Business Administration, Library Science, Information Management, or a related discipline.
This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $31.05 to $36.54.
