Mercedes-Benz Langley is currently seeking a General Shop Helper to join our team. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role supports the service department by ensuring the shop, equipment, and vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. The General Shop Helper plays a key role in delivering operational efficiency and contributing to a safe, organized, and customer-focused environment. The expected pay for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 per hour.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service shop, bays, and surrounding work areas
Assist technicians and service staff with general shop tasks and vehicle movement
Wash and detail customer and inventory vehicles as required
Shuttle vehicles within the dealership and assist with lot organization
Support receiving, stocking, and organizing parts and shop supplies
Dispose of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with safety and environmental regulations
Assist with general maintenance duties and minor facility upkeep
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in automotive or general labour roles is considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
