We are looking for someone who brings strong bookkeeping fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a portfolio of clients in a remote environment.

You will own a portfolio of clients and be responsible for keeping their bookkeeping and accounting support accurate, current, and well-organized. You will be trusted to take ownership of your work while working alongside a strong, supportive team, and this role reports to an Accounting Manager.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping for each client
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Support full-cycle accounting tasks,



including invoicing, payables, payroll, and general bookkeeping
Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent, high-quality service
Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote workplace
Strong understanding of accrual bookkeeping, debits and credits, and reconciliations
Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting support
Experience with tax filings such as HST, WSIB, T4s, and related compliance requirements
Previous experience in an accounting firm or fast-paced bookkeeping environment
Confidence communicating directly with clients and building strong relationships
Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage 50
Bookkeeping: 4+ years required
