Job : Under the direction of the Home Care Manager, the Registered Nurse carries major responsibilities in providing nursing services in the home; collaborates as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in assessing needs, setting priorities for care and developing standards for care; participates in educational programs and performance evaluation process; promotes valuable public relations and participates, as required, in studies and research projects within the Home Care Program.
Two (2) years recent community nursing experience/broad generalist background
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Desirable to possess nursing principles/techniques for long term care patients
- Ability to travel when required
- Scheduled hours of work may be reduced when a statutory holiday is recognized
