Our client is looking for a Proposal Writer with a strong software engineering background to join their growing proposal and business development team.
In this role, you’ll turn complex technical information, software solutions, and product capabilities into clear, accurate, and compelling content for RFPs and proposals. Write and develop technical content for RFP responses, proposals, and business development materials.
Translate complex engineering concepts and software capabilities into clear, easy-to-understand language.
Partner with product, engineering, and business development teams to gather and understand technical information.
Support multiple RFP submissions at the same time while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
Build and maintain a library of reusable technical content, product descriptions, and capability summaries.
Ensure proposal content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with submission requirements.
Help improve processes for gathering and incorporating technical information into proposals.
A software engineering or technical background,



with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
Previous experience with RFPs, proposals, technical writing, or technical documentation.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
The ability to adapt technical content for different audiences and requirements.
The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with technical subject matter experts.

You may have started your career in software engineering and moved into technical writing, proposals, documentation, or a similar role.
You’ll excel if you’re a solid writer who can ask the right questions, quickly understand technical information, organize complex ideas, and turn them into polished content. You should also be comfortable taking ownership, working independently, and managing multiple deadlines without sacrificing quality.
