Crafty Penguins is seeking a skilled Senior Linux Systems Specialist to support our growing clientele remotely. Candidates should possess advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems, Networking, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Your ability to creatively resolve issues while developing solid client relationships is essential to achieve success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their system needs
- Handle and respond to client system alerts promptly
- Manage client system patching and complete health checks




- Execute deployments following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Onboard new clients and develop infrastructure improvement roadmaps

Requirements:

- 5+ years experience with Linux systems and Networking
- Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Proficient in Bash and Python scripting
- Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes, etc.)
- Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field
