You’ll direct Personal Support Workers and liaise with other healthcare professionals to address residents' needs. Your participation in shift reports ensures smooth communication among the care team about resident status changes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Registered Nurse on care procedures
• Provide guidance to Personal Support Workers
• Notify physicians of significant changes in resident conditions
• Participate in shift reports with healthcare team members
• Assist in revising residence procedures as needed
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
• Knowledge in geriatric and rehabilitation nursing
• Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations and acts
• Experience in long-term care settings
• Committed to quality resident care and team support
