This critical role requires a skilled healthcare professional to support the Emergency Department at Headwaters Health Care Centre. The Physician Assistant will work under the direct supervision of a registered physician, contributing to clinical assessments and treatment plans. You will work closely with the inter-professional team to ensure effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support supervising physician with clinical assessment and documentation
• Formulate treatment plans tailored to patients' needs




• Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical decision-making
• Promote effective patient flow and discharge coordination
• Mentor clinical placement students and new staff
Requirements:
• CAPA Certificate of Registration in good standing
• Current CPR or BCLS certification
• Minimum 6 months clinical experience in emergency care
• ACLS and PALS certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to perform delegated medical acts
