This role partners closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams to support budgeting, payroll processing, monthly and quarterly close, audits, and process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Oversee monthly / quarterly financial close processesReview / create journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedulesOwn and manage the payroll process,



being the link between the Company and the ERPEnsure compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirementsDesign and maintain effective internal financial controlsIdentify control gaps and recommend process improvementsSupport quarterly / annual budgeting Monitor results against budget and investigate variancesOversee day to day finance operations, including but not limited to AP, AR and payrollManage and mentor junior finance staffReview work prepared by team members Qualifications:Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldHas earned or is on the way to earning a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, or equivalent) 3+ years of experience in accounting or financeStrong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and IFRSUnderstanding of Netsuite or SAP (nice to have) Key Skills & Competencies:Strong attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a rapid-paced environmentClear written and verbal communication skillsExcellent professional judgement and problem-solving abilityHigh level integrity and confidentialityWorks well in team-based environments In-Office, Toronto, ONSalary: $80,000-$100,000
