Hands-on experience in IBM i / AS400 / iSeries system administration.
Experience with OS upgrades, PTF installation, security patching, IPL, and performance monitoring. Knowledge of backup and recovery using BRMS and Disaster Recovery solutions such as MIMIX or PowerHA. Solid experience in ROBOT Scheduler administration, batch job scheduling, dependencies, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting production workloads, job queues, subsystems, and batch processing. Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes. Ability to coordinate with application teams and business stakeholders.
