What You’ll Bring

A successful assistant sales manager should have exceptional interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

Finance

- Working with the salespeople and submitting applications through Dealertrack
- Following up with lenders on approvals, conditions and steps until deals are funded
- Making sure deal files are complete and compliant before sending them to accounting.
- Tracking and accounting costs
- Handling trade-in payouts and lien searches
- Helping desk deals and structure payments for salespeople
- Tracking deal gross and preparing monthly sales reports
- Handling vehicle registration, insurance and plates through ICBC

Powersports

- Organizing transport of powersports units
- Coordinating unit intake, assembly and PDI with the shop
- Tracking powersports inventory and helping with ordering
- Attending powersports shows, setting up displays, staffing the booth and following up on show leads





Commission Payment:

As an Independent Contractor, you will be paid a combination of a monthly commission payment guarantee plus a variable commission payment plan. As an Independent Contractor, you are responsible for setting up your own Sole Proprietorship and registering to have a GST number. After which you are responsible for paying your yearly taxes as a Sole Proprietorship (or Corporation, if you so choose). It is generally advisable that you connect with a Tax professional to receive advice on how to handle this from the beginning of your contract with Applewood.
