Drive industrial trucks and ensure safety as an AZ/DZ Operator with GFL Environmental in Napanee, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on cargo handling, vehicle inspections, and compliance with safety regulations. GFL Environmental is seeking AZ/DZ licensed drivers to join the team in Napanee.
This position involves operating a variety of trucks, including combination units and hydro excavation units. You will oversee cargo handling and ensure secure loads while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and safety practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various industrial trucks including box and roll-off bin units
- Conduct inspections before and during trips for safety compliance
- Maneuver trucks for effective loading and unloading
- Maintain logs for vehicle service and working hours
- Deliver products and paperwork to customers on time Requirements:
- Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to work irregular shifts
- Willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Experience with cargo securing and handling
- Available Monday-Friday and on-call every fourth weekend Take on critical driving and operational tasks while ensuring timely deliveries at GFL Environmental.
