Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service.
- Help customers find cannabis products that best suit their preferences and needs.
- Provide accurate information about cannabis products, consumption methods, and effects.
- Process transactions accurately while following provincial cannabis regulations.
- Receive, process, stock, and organize inventory and incoming orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.
- Stay informed about new products, cannabis knowledge, and industry developments.
- Respond professionally to customer questions and concerns, using sound judgment to resolve routine issues.
- Work collaboratively with coworkers to support smooth daily operations and shared store goals.

Qualifications

- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Valid Selling It Right certification.
- Friendly, approachable personality with a genuine interest in helping customers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to scheduled shifts.




- Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team.
- Good judgment, problem-solving skills, and professionalism when handling challenging situations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail workplace.
- Willingness to learn about cannabis products, regulations, and industry developments.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, but not required.

No cannabis retail experience? No problem! We value a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Training and support are provided to help you succeed.

Compensation

Starting wages:

- Part-Time Budtender: $18.50/hour
- Full-Time Budtender: $19.00/hour

With 45 minutes of paid breaks during an eight-hour shift, these starting wages are equivalent to approximately $20.41/hour for part time employees and $20.97/hour for full-time employees, compared with workplaces providing the same break time unpaid.

Additional wage increases and advancement opportunities may be available based on performance, experience, and company needs.
