Paladin Security will cover certification costs with a six-month commitment to the position and availability requirements.ResponsibilitiesSecurity OperationsPerform high visibility patrols by foot, bicycle, or vehicle while engaging with tenants, guests, visitors and employees on a regular basis and provide exemplary customer service and assistanceIdentify, document, and report safety hazards and operational deficienciesAssist tenants and merchants with incidents and criminal activity investigationsCoordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when requiredRespond to medical emergencies and provide First Aid, CPR, and AED assistancePrepare detailed incident reports using site reporting systemsAddress trespassing and unauthorized access situations safely and professionallyOperations Centre DutiesMonitor security systems and life-safety equipmentMust be able to provide verbal or written direction clearly to coordinate incident response, activating emergency services,



directing security/operations personnel on required actions during incidents while following established procedures.Maintain accurate activity logs and recordsReview CCTV footage for investigations and follow-up actionsAnswer and manage incoming security communicationsMonitor and manage fire alarm and sprinkler systems as requiredEnsure compliance with site policies, procedures, and standard operating practicesMust Have2+ years previous security experienceValid Alberta Security License or ability to obtain oneGrade 12 Diploma or equivalentValid Driver's LicenseLegally authorized to work in CanadaStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsStrong observational abilities and attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google WorkspaceExperience using CCTV systems and security technology, Ability to operate two-way radio communicationsAbility to make sound decisions in fast-paced and emergency situationsPhysical ability to conduct extensive patrols exceeding 15 km per shiftAbility to work outdoors, climb stairs,
