We work in Commercial, Civil, and Industrial Construction and seeking experienced seeking Carpenters and Carpenter Apprentices.Tasks include forming and pouring foundations, framing, installation of doors and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable in building code and construction math
- Experience in preparing material take-offs and reading blueprints
- Assist with demolition and debris removal
- Erecting and disassembling of scaffolding
- Experience in wood and steel stud framing application
- Experience in finish carpentry skills
- Affectively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may affect the completion of a job
- Practice workplace safety
Qualifications
- 2 + years’ experience in construction
- Knowledgeable in the use and application of tools and materials for job completion
- Ability to work well with a team and on your own
- Ability to communicate and interact both verbally and written
- A keen eye to details and positive decision making
- Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner
- Ability to take and follow instruction from supervisor
Education
- Red Seal or Enrolled in Apprenticeship
Additional information
Datoff Bros. bids projects throughout Northern BC. Travel and work in remote locations may be required.
Working hours: 40–60 hours per week.
Minimum experience: 2 years.
