As the current CEO & Chief Librarian, you will report directly to the Bracebridge Library Board. Your leadership will guide operations while ensuring the library meets community needs through innovative programming and services. Proven experience in library administration and a Master's degree in Library Science are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategic direction of the Bracebridge Library • Manage library operations and financial budgeting • Foster community partnerships and enhance services • Analyze operational processes to boost efficiency • Represent the library to various community stakeholders
Requirements: • MLIS or equivalent library degree required • At least seven years of progressive library leadership experience • Exceptional critical thinking and business acumen • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of the Public Libraries Act and relevant legislation
