In this key role, you will be part of CIMA+'s Energy & Resources team, collaborating on large infrastructure projects across Canada. Your main focus will be designing overhead lines from 60kV to 500kV, as well as constructing poles and foundations for transmission lines. This position requires a strong foundation in engineering principles and innovative problem-solving to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design high voltage overhead lines and associated facilities • Create designs for wood and steel pole structures • Manage design tasks including timelines and costs • Prepare project documentation like reports and specifications • Provide technical assistance and field reviews
Requirements: • University degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission projects • Member of a Qualified Engineering association • Proficiency in design software and CAD systems • Excellent communication skills in English
