Summary The Product Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of finished food products by: Removing foreign material from the product. Reacting to sudden quality changes. Ensuring finished product quality meets customer and division standards. Strong understanding of the inspection area and the ability to make sound decisions quickly. Safety, alertness, and professionalism are critical. Key Responsibilities Inspection & Quality Control Identify and remove foreign material from finished products. Dispose of any product that does not meet customer expectations. Communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel. Sanitation & Hygiene Sanitize personal protective equipment (PPE). Follow health, hygiene, and sanitation policies as outlined in plant procedures. Work Area Maintenance Keep the inspection area clean and organized. Sweep and dispose of non-hazardous waste as needed. Safety & Compliance Follow safe work practices and standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies and the Union Labor Agreement. Training & Development Participate in training activities. Apply acquired skills and knowledge to improve job performance.



Teamwork & Conduct Interact with team members using a participative management style. Maintain confidentiality and a professional appearance. Typical Education High School Diploma or GED Minimum 6 months of related experience and/or training. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Solid attention to detail and decision-making skills. Good safety and attendance record. Other Information Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be alert and aware of equipment and surroundings at all times. Expected to represent the company professionally.
