Staff Software Engineer - Capital One Travel - Android Capital One Canada is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Android platform in Toronto. The role focuses on advanced hands-on development, technical design, and architecture, and works within a dynamic mobile team while providing mentorship across all skill levels.Responsibilities Own technical design, architecture, and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.Collaborate with a agile mobile team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.Improve software engineering practices by working within Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full stack of development tools and technologies.Contribute expertise on how evolving technology affects the domain.Provide mentorship to junior, intermediate, and senior mobile associates.Basic Qualifications At least 6 years of hands-on development of Native Android applications using Java or Kotlin.At least 6 years of experience with application and/or data design, architecture, and development.Proficiency with Rx Java, Coroutines, Dagger, Espresso, JUnit,
