floors, walls, glass, and other surfacescleans and maintains washrooms and shower roomsmaintains waxed or synthetic floor coveringscleans light fixturesreplaces bulbs and tubes as requiredcleans windows, both inside and outoperates necessary hand and power tools required in effective performance of dutiescollects and disposes of waste as requiredreports to Senior Custodian any signs of failure in buildings, fixtures, and furnishingsmoves furniture as requiredfollows proper work procedures, observes all regulations pertinent to the work, maintains a valuable working relationship with other employees, and cooperates in maintaining a healthy learning and working environmentperforms other related duties as assigned by the SupervisorSchool District 71 welcomes diverse candidates and encourages applications from members of groups experiencing barriers to equity.
