We are growing and are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Welding & Fabrication Shop Laborer to join our Team.Position SummaryJob Type: Full-time, permanent positionFull-time condensed work week: 10 Hours/day, 4 Days/week.
Overtime as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesGrinding metal for weld preparationDaily shop cleaningMachinery preventative maintenanceAssist welders and machine operators as requiredParts/delivery driving (drivers abstract required)Operate metal sawOperate pressesBanding/packaging materials for shippingEmpty garbage binsPerform all work in compliance with established safety procedures and codes.Other duties as they arise that would fulfill the mandate of providing excellent service.QualificationsDriver’s license and ability to provide a drivers abstract upon request.Must be at least 18 years of age.Steel toed work boots (all other PPE provided by employer).Experience operating heavy equipment and fork lifts is considered an asset.Experience with fabrication & welding is considered an asset.Compensation$15-$20 Per hour based on experience and qualifications.RRSP Matching programOpportunity for advancement and further training.#J-18808-Ljbffr
