We're seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers to support a client in a long-term care facility in Milton.

About the Clients:

Dad (Milton Long-Term Care) requires supplemental care due to inconsistent facility support. He experiences disorientation, needs encouragement with meals and activities, and benefits from regular walking and exercise routines.

Responsibilities:

For Dad (Milton LTC)—One 4-5 hour visit daily (1:00 PM–6:00 PM):

- Ensure facility staff complete scheduled showers and PT sessions
- Monitor meal consumption and provide gentle encouragement
- Assist with post-meal walking routines
- Supervise evening oral care using water pick and floss
- Manage laundry to prevent lost clothing
- Encourage participation in facility activities
- Document daily care and communicate any lapses in facility services

What We're Looking For:

- Fluent Hindi speaker with solid English communication
- Experience with seniors,



particularly those with cognitive decline and diabetes management
- Patient, calm demeanor with ability to handle resistance
- Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do
- Reliable with excellent attendance
- Detailed reporting—we need to know what's happening daily
- Able to advocate respectfully with long-term care staff when needed

Schedule:

Five days per week. Dad requires once daily afternoon/evening shift. Consistency is essential—we prefer the same caregiver(s) to build trust and routine.

This role requires someone who genuinely cares, communicates proactively, and understands that small details matter enormously in senior care.
