We're looking for a full time Controller to lead our Accounting team at Canada Gold. Based in Ottawa's west end and reporting directly to the Managing Partner, this role oversees the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and financial processes across Canada Gold and its related businesses. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to provide meaningful financial insights, improve processes, and support business growth. You’ll also lead and develop the Accounting team while ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective financial controls. We're looking for a hands‑on leader who takes initiative, builds structure, and is comfortable balancing strategic financial oversight with day‑to‑day accounting responsibilities.



What You’ll Do Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including reconciliations, consolidations, and financial statement reviews. Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, management reporting, and variance analysis. Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting in collaboration with senior leadership. Manage external accounting relationships, year‑end engagements, and supporting documentation. Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting across related entities.
