We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join the team at our restaurant. This is an excellent prospect for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and is interested in working in a professional kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Opening & Pre-Service Duties

Restock chemicals and sanitizers

Replenish hand soap and paper towel dispensers

Prepare the dish station for service by 5:30 PM

Fill and organize dishwashing stations, including:

Cutlery bins

Dish soap

Soaking sinks

Drain, clean, and refill dishwasher at 4:45 PM in preparation for service

During Service

Wash, dry, polish, and properly store all dishware and cutlery

Clean, dry, and store kitchen equipment and cookware

Maintain and replenish kitchen tasting spoons

Ensure paper towel dispensers remain stocked

Clean, dry, and polish glassware

Clean back walls, side walls, and dish shelving daily

Maintain organization of dish and equipment storage areas





Closing Duties

Ensure all dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and properly stored

Shut down the dish machine, including:

Draining

Cleaning all interior and exterior components

Scrubbing and sanitizing machine surfaces

Scrub, sanitize, and squeegee sinks dry

Replace or restock low chemicals and sanitizers

Empty and replace garbage bags

Sweep and squeegee the dish area

Verify soap and sanitizer levels for the following day

Lay out wet or damp racks to air dry overnight
