Dogdays Daycare is looking for a Dog Daycare Attendant/Receptionist who is comfortable working with/handling all sizes of dogs, confident in understanding of dog behaviour and body language, working either alone/in a team setting, interacting with clients, maintaining a clean facility and overall has a passion for animals!

We are looking for individuals who have open availibilty, good flexibility, have their own reliable transportation, and are willing to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays; Our working hours are between 7am to 9pm, subject to change with buisness' requirements.

Applicant must have experience working with pets in a professional pet care/kennel setting.

Job Responsibilities:

- Supervising groups of various sizes, and exercising dogs during outdoor time.
- Assessing dog body language/behaviours and determining appropriate social groups.
- Tracking each dog's belongings and making note of necessary information.
- Feeding, administering medication and ensuring fresh water is available to client dogs.
- Examining dogs regularly to ensure health and wellness; Providing basic medical care and basic first aid if necessary.
- Provide updates on dog's stay to pet parents.
- Occasionally transport client dogs to/from our facility.
- Maintaining and updating communication logs regarding behaviour, medication,



feeding and cleaning.
- Checking in/out, booking reservations, collecting payments and communicating with clients.
- Cleaning facilities, including but not limited to:

- Potty accidents
- Indoor Boarding and Daycare Areas
- Food and water dishes
- Laundry
- Cleaning toys
- Poop pick-up in yard
- Maintaining general cleanliness and safety of dog exercise areas on property.

Job Requirements:

- Experience working in a kennel, or in the pet industry is a requirement for this position.
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment independently or with the team, and prioritize tasks!
- Organizational skills, and detail-oriented care.
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and lift 25+lbs

-Must be comfortable being outdoors for extended periods given reasonable weather conditions.

- Flexible availability, and own reliable transportation.
- Commitment to providing friendly and personable customer service to our clients during the drop-off and pick-up of all dogs.
