We are recruiting for an experienced Financial Analyst - IFRS, Reporting & Advisory to join a well-established organization in Toronto.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional with expertise in IFRS, external financial reporting, technical accounting research, and accounting policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements and disclosures.
- Research and interpret IFRS standards for complex accounting transactions.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support accounting policy development.
- Prepare technical accounting memos, position papers, and recommendations.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting activities.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including year-end audit requirements.
- Assist with journal entries, variance analysis,



and financial reporting.
- Support process improvements and financial reporting initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

- Robust hands-on experience with IFRS/IAS and external financial reporting.
- Experience preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, preferably within the retail sector.
- Proven experience with technical accounting research, accounting memos, and policy documentation.
- Strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and Power BI is an asset.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
