Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders at the front counter
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, maintaining quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service quality




- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks as needed
- Follow food handling protocols to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized workspace conducive to efficient service

Experience

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making accurate change
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in cashiering or cash handling roles demonstrates reliability in managing financial transactions effectively
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
