As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:Providing an excellent guest experienceEnsuring that great food is prepared & servedKeeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautifulControlling inventoryScheduling and supervising staffBeing a team playerIn addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:Cascading training to Sandwich ArtistsTM on existing and recent responsibilitiesScheduling and supervising staffPracticing inventory control standardsEnsuring equipment is in proper working order during shiftCompleting paperwork as neededPREREQUISITESEducation:High school diploma or equivalentExperience:A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMust be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.Physical:Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday.
