This role leads a team of unionized and non-unionized operators, manages production flow, ensures quality of ferrous materials, and supports continuous improvement within the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & ProductionSupervise daily ferrous processing activities including receiving, sorting, grading, and shipping materials. Ensure production targets are met and monitor material flowOversee proper identification and segregation of ferrous metalsSafety & ComplianceEnforce all safety policies and procedures. Conduct daily safety meetings. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and company standards.Identifyhazards and promote a solid safety culture.Team LeadershipSupervise, train, and develop employees. Assign daily tasks andmonitorperformanceSupport employee engagement and address performance concernsQuality ControlEnsureaccuratesorting of received materialPrepare material according to specifications of the processes and suppliersPerform inspections andmaintainquality standardsEquipment & Yard ManagementEnsure proper use and maintenance of equipment including forklifts, material handlers,
