HorizonAire is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Permanent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team! Familiarity with respiratory disease processes, CPAP/BiLevel, and oxygen therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities & Duties:

- Initiation and demonstration of equipment for patients with respiratory disease and sleep disordered breathing.

-Set up and educate patients about our home oxygen services, and sleep apnea screening and treatment.

- Patient assessments and equipment compliance checks.
- Consultation with physicians and other health care professionals directly and/or through protocol management reporting.

Qualifications:

- Clinical competence, a positive attitude, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
- A graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
- Active registration with the Newfoundland & Labrador College of Nurses (NLCN).
- Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE).




- A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
- A clean code of conduct and vulnerable sector check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google applications.
- Robust organization, communication, and time management skills.

Job Demands:

- Travel throughout Newfoundland.
- Regularly moves and lifts up to 50lbs.
- 24/7 on-call duties following a rotating schedule.
