B&G; IndustrialServices Ltd. is looking for a motivated and dependable General Labourer tojoin our team. This is a hands-on position supporting our welding andfabrication operations with an opportunity to develop your skills and grow intoa Welder and/or Welder-Fitter role.

OPPORTUNITY TO GROW

This position isideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the welding and metalfabrication industry. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to learnfrom experienced tradespeople, gain hands-on experience and develop the skills neededto advance into a Welder and/or Welder-Fitter position.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Wage: $45,000 – $55,000per year

Overtime: Paid in accordancewith Ontario Employment Standards Act

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare, move and organisematerials for fabrication and production
- Assist Welder-Fitters with dailyshop activities
- Perform general shophousekeeping, including sweeping and maintaining clean work areas
- Operate shop equipment and toolsas trained and authorized
- Perform general station andequipment maintenance
- Assist with material handling,loading and unloading
- Perform basic welding andfabrication tasks as skills develop




- Follow all company safetypolicies, procedures and safe work practices
- Maintain a clean, organized andsafe work environment
- Complete other general labour andshop duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

- Previous welding experience or interest in pursuing welding is consideredan asset
- Previous industrial, construction, fabrication or shop experience is anasset but not required
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools is an asset
- Willingness to learn welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to safely lift, move and handle materials
- Good attendance, reliability and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to workplace safety

WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Exposure to noise, heat, dust and steel fabrication equipment
- Occasional overtime and emergency call-ins may be required
- PPE is mandatory at all times
