Become a vital part of the care team at AgeCare as a Health Care Aide in SkyPointe. Deliver compassionate support and quality care to residents on a part-time basis.
In this temporary position, you will collaborate closely with the Licensed Practical Nurse to provide essential care services. Your responsibilities include assisting residents with personal hygiene, feeding during meals, and ensuring mobility throughout the facility. Adherence to care plans and safety protocols is crucial to enhance resident comfort and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with bathing and personal hygiene
• Transfer residents safely using appropriate equipment
• Feed residents according to dietary guidelines
• Accompany residents to meals and activities
• Provide routine treatments as directed by the Staff Nurse
Requirements:
• One year experience in continuing care is preferred
• Completion of recognized Personal Care Aide Certificate
• Active registration with the CLHA of Alberta
• Solid verbal and written English skills
• Post-secondary education is an asset
