West Coast Building Restoration Inc. is seeking an experienced Carpenter. Its a full time, permanent position early morning, morning, day, evening, weekends and overtime are required. We offer 37.50 hours/week and $38.55/hour. Overtime as per the Employment Standards Act of British Columbia. 4% paid vacation. We offer extended health benefits medical/dental that get started 3 months after employment starts.Start date: As soon as possibleWork location: Various locations in Vancouver MainlandAs a Carpenter, you will be expected to perform the following duties: Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences; Measuring, cutting, andfastening materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials; Read and interpret blueprints; Preparing and building foundation systems, installation floor beans and joisting systems laying subflooring, erecting walls and roof systems,



fitting and installing doors and windows; Using and maintaining power and hand tools common to the trade; Providing feedback and evaluation of progress and deficiencies within the scope of assigned work; Training constructions helpers and assessing their progress.Requirements: Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Carpenter; Must have valid driverslicense; Must have completed high school; Presentable, professional and with excellent work ethic; Position is physically demanding; Must be able to work under minimum supervision; Must be able to work atheights, in confined, noisy, and/or dusty spaces; Must be able to handle heavy loads; Must have excellent problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing skills; Must have own steel-toed boots and hard hat.To apply, please email your resume to.Only candidates meeting qualifications will be contacted.
