Become a key part of the Kenn Borek Aquatic Centre team in Dawson Creek, BC as a Part-Time Aquatics Lifeguard-Instructor I. Provide essential lifeguarding and instructional services in a dynamic community setting. The City of Dawson Creek is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Aquatics Lifeguard-Instructor I.

This position requires hands-on experience in an aquatic environment, along with a commitment to safety and teaching swimming skills. You will engage with the community while preparing lesson plans and ensuring equipment readiness for aquatic programs. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide lifeguarding services during aquatic activities
- Supervise swimming and related programs for safety
- Ensure all equipment is operational and ready for use
- Prepare lesson plans and conduct evaluations
- Monitor and document pool conditions as needed Requirements:
- Current National Lifeguard Award (Pool Option)
- Standard First Aid with CPR C/AED certification required
- Lifesaving Swim Instructor certification mandatory
- Minimum 528 hours of relevant aquatic experience
