Dispatcher – Inspection & Services DivisionVO-86Location : OttawaSchedule : 37.5 hours per weekSalary : $26-$34 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsJob DescriptionReporting to the Operations Manager, the Dispatcher plays a key role in coordinating service operations, supporting field technicians, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.Key responsibilities include:Answer customer calls, inquiries, and service requests in a professional and timely mannerSchedule and dispatch service calls to technicians based on priorities and availabilityPlan and coordinate technicians' workloads, inspection visits, and monthly schedulesProvide administrative support to field technicians and maintain service-related documentationCreate and manage service calls, work orders, and related records; Provide basic technical assistance and direct customer concerns to the appropriate internal resourcesMonitor service activities to ensure work is completed within established timelinesPromote the company's products and services to existing and prospective customersSuccess FactorsAdministrative certificate from a recognized college or university or High School diploma with equivalent relevant experienceMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position (an asset)Solid computer skills and very good knowledge of Windows softwareStrong customer service skillsBe resourceful and have a good work organizationWhy Join Viking?Viking values, respects, and supports the interests of its employees from all walks of life.
