The position involves building relationships with farmers, educational institutions, community organizations, and other partners to strengthen agricultural learning opportunities. The role is suited to someone who enjoys collaboration, relationship-building, program coordination, and supporting aspiring farmers as they develop the skills and experience needed for careers in agriculture. For a suitable candidate, there may also be an opportunity to take on additional communications responsibilities if Young Agrarians secures a wage subsidy for a post-secondary student. Key Responsibilities

1. Program Coordination

The coordinator will support the effective delivery and continued development of the Young Agrarians Apprenticeship Program through the following responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with host farms throughout British Columbia. Build partnerships with farm organizations that support the delivery of farm tours.

Share relevant opportunities, resources, tools, and communications with the British Columbia Young Agrarians network through the organization’s website, social media, and U-Map platform. Contribute to the overall vision and development of the Apprenticeship Program. 2. Additional Communications Responsibilities
