Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to contribute to dynamic building projects in Ottawa, ON. Drive cutting-edge electrical system designs and collaborate with clients and team members.
This role focuses on electrical system design, including power distribution and safety systems, within a multidisciplinary team at Stantec. You will manage project scopes, attend project coordination meetings, and support technical deliverables. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead electrical design and manage deliverable deadlines • Coordinate project meetings and client requirements • Evaluate and specify electrical systems from 120V to 44kV • Develop comprehensive design documents including drawings and specifications • Travel locally for site inspections and client meetings
Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering • 8+ years of consulting engineering experience • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario • Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and design standards • Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, or Revit preferred
