Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the positions of two part-time Produce Clerks (15-24 hours/week) at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do

- Reporting to the Produce Team Leader, responsibilities for the position include the following:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a solid customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Stock and display products with a focus on well-organized, visually appealing presentation.
- Monitor code dates and product quality to ensure the freshest inventory is on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
- Prepare ready-to-eat produce products to Lake Country Co-op standards while maintaining production records.




- Receive product and unload freight, ensuring produce is correctly stored.
- Maintain a clean and organized department.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Able to fulfill physical job requirements, such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50lbs.
- Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
- Flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
