The Program Assistant will support the Sports& Adventure Program Director and Head Instructors with activities,equipment, and daily operations. Assist with instruction, tournaments, campertransitions, and safe drop-off and pick-up.

WHAT IS AMAZING ABOUT THIS JOB:

- Assist the Sports & Adventure Program Director and HeadInstructors with all Sports Camp programs.
- Assist with equipment inventory management for Sports &Adventure; camps.
- Support all Sports & Adventure programs and instruct whenrequired.
- Help organize and co-host cross-camp tournaments and activities.
- Ensure compliance with Appleby’s Sports & Adventure proceduresand safety protocols.
- Aid in safe drop-off and pick-up for all campers, engaging withparents and guardians.
- Assist in daily camp operations including lunch supervision andtransitions.

YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:





- Completed second year of post-secondary education with experienceinstructing Sports or Adventure programs.
- Strong athletic and coaching skills with proven experience in arecreation or camp setting.
- Organized and confident leading activities in front of groups.
- Experience facilitating sports competitions, warm-ups, andadventure programming.
- Valid Intermediate First Aid and CPR – C or higher.
- Knowledge or certification in canoeing, ropes, or lifeguarding isan asset.
- Valid driver’s license is an asset.
