Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and integrate prototype embedded control software for engine controllers and hybrid/electrified propulsion supervisory controllers.
- Translate control concepts and experimental algorithms into executable embedded software.
- Utilize hand-coded C/C++ and model-based MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow development.
- Work within an AUTOSAR-based embedded architecture and utilize tools like Vector DaVinci and ETAS ISOLAR.




- Integrate CAN communication interfaces and troubleshoot BSW/foundation software.
- Support software validation in MIL, HIL, dyno, and vehicle environments.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of professional experience in automotive embedded controls/software development.
- Proficiency in embedded programming with C/C++ and experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
- Experience with AUTOSAR Classic application software architecture and CAN communications.
- Strong debugging and root‑cause analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- 8 years of experience in automotive embedded controls and software.
- Experience with engine control modules, hybrid control modules, or propulsion supervisory controllers.
- Hands‑on experience with AUTOSAR BSW/foundation software.
