Responsibilities

• Verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
• Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Verify expense reports to ensure compliance with the company Travel Policy.
• Communicate effectively with Buyers and Quality teams to drive timely resolution of invoice processing delays regarding inventory receipts, PO issues, and vendor disputes.
• Manage, communicate, and resolve all queries in a timely manner.
• Participate actively in clearing open items, advanced payments GL accounts, GR/IR,
  
  
  
  and other accounts during month-end close.
• Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations for specified key suppliers and additional accounts as needed.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations on Accounts Payable related accounts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
• Assist other departments in organizing requests across diverse business units for customers and regulators.
• Monitor and collect past-due intercompany accounts receivable.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with large complex and technical businesses an asset
• Strong Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word
• ERP experience – SAP preferred
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• DEC in Accounting, Economics, Administration or Finance or related field
• Must be fluent in communicate with French/ English speaking clients located outside Quebec on a regular basis
