This temporary part-time position reports directly to the Director of Care. You will coordinate nursing services and promote a culture of safety for residents. Successful candidates will bring a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate nursing services for residents in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Lead shift reports, updating team members on residents' status
• Document significant changes in residents' conditions accurately
• Process and implement physician orders promptly
• Promote health and safety awareness within the residence
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Registration and good standing with the provincial registry
• Knowledge of nursing legislation and standards
• Background in rehabilitation or geriatric care
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
