Reporting to the Manager of Maintenance Operations and Fleet Services, this role encompasses overseeing tenders, developing strategies for alternative fuels, and liaising with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will ensure the seamless operation of maintenance activities across the Region’s District Maintenance Depots, pushing for improvement in services and processes.

Key Responsibilities:



• Oversee major tenders and contracts for maintenance operations • Develop strategies for software and technology advancements • Standardize contract administration procedures and specifications • Prepare reports for public meetings and council • Supervise and mentor assigned staff

Requirements: • Three-year diploma in engineering or equivalent experience • Qualified Engineer or Certified Engineering Technologist status • Extensive experience in maintenance operations or construction fields • Strong contract law and specification writing skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications
